Bolton Wanderers Women return to league action on Sunday afternoon when facing Radcliffe FC Women at the Dreams2Reality Stadium - the home of Atherton Collieries.
Myles Smith's side will be looking to continue their perfect league record when facing the visitors this weekend - a team looking for revenge following the 6-1 defeat last month on home soil.
But whilst that scoreline suggests a seemingly one-sided game, Sunday's opponents offered stern resistance throughout the game until the latter stages - even taking an early lead and putting Wanderers under pressure - emphasising the need for the Whites to be on their performance from minute one.
That was the key message from Myles Smith in his pre-match preview on Wanderers TV (available in full here). The Wanderers' boss warned against complacency and ensuring standards remain high as they return home on Sunday afternoon.
"It's been one of the messages that we've shared within our camp this week. If you look at the Radcliffe game, they could have been 2/3-0 up at one stage so it could have been a different game," he said.
"We have to ensure we respect the opposition and we know anyone can take points off you in this division.
"We've done a good job so far in not letting any team do that, but the moment we walk into a game thinking we are going to win them - we'll drop points. Therefore, we have to make sure we're on our performance and focused from the first kick of the game."
Radcliffe head into this game with six wins from their 10 fixtures this season, and arrive at the Dreams2Reality Stadium on the back of a morale-boosting 5-0 victory over Hindley Juniors Women last weekend.
For Wanderers, continuing on from their emphatic Alliance Design and Print Cup victory over Tranmere Rovers will be key, with the Whites brushing aside higher league opposition following a 10-3 win last time out at Chorley FC.
As always with Wanderers Women's home game, admission is FREE at Atherton Collieries, so we invite supporters to come down and show their support once again this weekend.
