Bolton Wanderers Women will take on Tranmere Rovers Women in the Alliance Design & Print Cup on Sunday afternoon at Chorley FC's Victory Park, kick-off 2pm.
Myles Smith's side are eager to progress to the next round and translate their winning league form into cup competition - whilst also seeking to overcome higher league competition and avenge their earlier FA Cup defeat.
With no game last weekend and an automatic progression into the next round of the County Cup due to Morecambe not being able to fulfil the fixture, the Whites used the free space wisely - putting in the hard work on the training field with extra sessions to ensure preparation is high ahead of this weekend.
But in Sunday's opponents, they face a Tranmere Rovers side who not only arrive into this fixture on the back of a five-game unbeaten run, but are the only side to have beaten Wanderers in a competitive fixture this term.
Playing in the league above in the Premier Division of North West Women's Regional League, Rovers will arrive at Victory Park in confident mood following a 4-0 win over FC United of Manchester Women last weekend.
However, Wanderers had their moments in their FA Cup meeting with Tranmere earlier in the season and will be hoping to capitalise on that more and turn a defeat into victory this weekend.
