Wanderers will face Blackpool in the final of the Lancashire FA Professional Youth Cup on Wednesday, 2nd April as the young Whites bid to become county champions.
The final (KO 7.30pm) will be staged at the County Ground in Leyland – the home of the LFA. Admission for supporters will be pay at the gate on the night, via cash at the turnstiles, with prices £8 for adults and £4 concessions.
Wanderers advanced to the final by beating Preston North End and then knocking out holders Blackburn Rovers in the semi-finals, while Blackpool got past Rochdale and then Burnley in the last four to set up next week’s meeting.
The LFA Cup is one of three competitions Wanderers are still seeking to win as they continue an excellent season under boss Julian Darby.
Darby’s side currently leads the northern section of the EFL Youth Alliance with an unbeaten record after 17 games.
The Whites collected a 16th win of the campaign with a 7-2 win over defending champions Preston last weekend and lead Wrexham, who have played three games more, by three points at the top of the table with seven matches to go.
The young Whites are also through to the northern final of the EFL Youth Alliance League Cup where they will meet Burton Albion at home on Saturday, 5th April.
